How to use the menu bar?

Below the title bar at My Computer window is the Menu bar with four items on it. Each item will display a drop down menu when selected. To select a menu item, just click the mouse on it or type the underlined letter of that item.

·         Click on the first item File. Do you obtain the following menu?
·         Without clicking the mouse  button, to move the pointer to the next item Edit to view the commands on the Edit menu.
·         Proceed to the View menu.
The View menus commands affect the view of the window. Notice the check mark next to the item Status bar. This indicates that the status bar is on display in the window. To switch it off, click on the item Status bar in the View menu to erase the check mark. The Status bar no longer appears in the window.
·         Open the view menu again (if necessary). Click on small icons. Does the My Computer windows display the icon on smaller versions?
·         Next open the view menu and select list to line up the items in My Computer as a list.
·         Select Details from the View menu to obtain a more detailed of items in My Computer.
·         Next select Large Icons to revert the Icons to their original size.
·         Restore the status bar as well.
